After locating the body of fallen comrade SSgt. Wilkerson in an undisclosed area of Chechnya, the Russian special forces unit have been inserted several miles away from a suspected safe house. The General in charge of the operation to move troops into Chechnya to aid rebel fighters has often been seen in the area, overseeing the smuggling. The troops are being moved using petrol tankers, which have been renovated to allow for 30 or so men to hide inside and gain entry illegally and covertly. The safe house is part of a small complex, within the permitter there is a Fuel Storage unit, a Radio Mast, and aerial photographs suggest there is an ammo dump, but this has not been confirmed. The maps located in the last mission in Chechnya have pointed to this location being the hub of communication between the rebels scattered in the Estonian countryside, the road which adjoins the complex leads to the main road between Polva and Valga, Valga being the base of all operations and home to some of the groups highest ranking members. The rebels working on the smuggling operation are well trained but their supply lines let them down frequently, expect them to have no more than small arms and miscellaneous small explosive devices. |
